I know it as a term for someone who hangs around on the street wasting time. Is it the same in Egypt? And what is the best way to express it in English? The context is teens who go out a lot and hang around with their friends. Sometimes their other friends tease them and call them يا صايع
I thought of things like street kid and street girl (in the case of يا صايعه ) but these imply homelessness and prostitution, and these connotations may not be appropriate.
