  -> Thanks

disagree  Navid_a: Dear baby, I have read your definition and please explain how a "dumpling filled with spiced minced pork" could mean چاشنی. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dumpling
1 hr
  -> Dear Boy, you had better read the definition for wanton above in my explanation. Wan ton is a Chashni for Aulacese and Aulacese is chinese and not vietnames at all

disagree  Edward Plaisance Jr: Au Lac=ancient name for Viet Nam http://www.viettouch.com/hist/vietnam_history.html Many Vietnamese restaurants are called Au Lac. So this is a Vietnamese (Aulacese)-style wonton/dumpling.

  -> You are right about Aulacese. Mine was a mistake. But what about wonton. it is chinese

agree  Mohammad Reza Razaghi: Maybe we can simply transliterate the term. What do you think?
29 mins
  -> Yes, but the Farsi word ويتنامي is much more tangible than the transliteration. Thanks anyway dear Mohammadreza!

  -> Thanks for bravely admitting your mistake. We, translators, all make such mistakes, every now and then.

agree  Edward Plaisance Jr: Obviously this all started from a recipe/menu. Au Lac is an ancient name for Viet Nam http://www.viettouch.com/hist/vietnam_history.html Many Vietnamese restaurants are called Au Lac. So this is a Vietnamese-style dumpling. Dumplings are found everywhere
